Join us at the Gippsland Art Gallery on Monday 4 July to celebrate NAIDOC Week with special activities and events.
Meet at the Gallery Help Desk at 2.00pm for a flag raising ceremony, followed by a Welcome to Country and a traditional smoking ceremony. The day will conclude with afternoon tea to celebrate the official launch of the Gippsland Art Gallery’s new Borun & Tuk Gallery, which is dedicated to exhibiting the work of First Nations artists in Gippsland, and viewings of the new exhibitions by Gunaikurnai artists Richard Young and Aunty Eileen Harrison. This is a family-friendly event with activities for the children as well.
