Saturday, October 24, 2026

Discover the joy of creating your own one-of-a-kind handmade basket in this beginner friendly workshop. Using recycled and repurposed materials, you'll learn the techniques to create baskets in a variety of sizes, shapes and colours - once you've mastered the basics, the possibilities are endless!

It's a wonderful way to get creative, learn a new skill and turn treasured textiles into something beautiful, practical and uniquely yours with the confidence to keep creating at home!

All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring along a favourite scarf, a piece of fabric, or some yarn to give it new life in your basket. Light refeshments, tea and coffee are available throughout the workshop. Please BYO lunch.

This workshop has been designed for adults and young adults aged 16+. If you struggle with arthritis or limited use of your hands, this may not be a suitable class for you as the basket is completely made by hand.
