Join Indigenous Trawoolway artist Domnic White in a unique workshop exploring natural materials and indigenous thinking. In this workshop children aged 5 - 12 years (primary school aged) will learn the value of unseen materials, how to string objects and ideas together, as they make string from synthetic sinew using a Trawoolway technique, and how to shape, sand and burnish bush timber into a pendant.
This is a free workshop delivered in partnership with Wellington Library & Gippsland Art Gallery.
Participants need to be accompanied by an adult.
Bookings need to be made prior via the Wellington Library TryBooking.
